The next day on River Street with our girls we found  a fellow singing gospel for the busy shoppers, fabulous sweet treats and workers rebuilding the cobblestone streets by the river.a stirring performance of “Amazing Grace” Savannah River Street – two days before Christmas

We spent a day and night in Savannah just before Christmas. I’ve been there many times appreciating the stunning architecture and sights but nothing can compare to the hour I ran through a few of the squares just after sunset. It was absolutely magical.  The crisp holiday night combined with the lights gave the classic Savannah experience something really special. Everything was photographed without flash… amazing how beautiful!I’m tempted to offer some of these on the website as cards or posters!
